Three ways customers reach you

Catch every emergency, your way

Phone

Victoria triages the call

Your AI receptionist takes the call when you can't. Gathers details, quotes the callout fee, texts you the rest.

About Victoria
Hero feature

Link

Your branded /help/ link

Paste /help/your-business on your website, Google Business profile, WhatsApp status — anywhere. Customers self-serve in 30 seconds.

✨ Works even with the AI receptionist switched off.

Dashboard

Live alerts, one screen

Every emergency lands on a single dashboard with photos, address, urgency and your out-of-hours fee pre-calculated. Tap to call back.

From panic to paid in 4 steps

What your customer experiences — and what hits your phone in seconds.

1

They call or tap your link

Victoria, your AI receptionist, picks up the phone and triages the emergency. Or they tap your branded intake link from your website, Google profile or business card QR — no app install, no sign-up.

2

Fees shown up-front

Your callout fee and hourly rate are displayed clearly so there are no awkward conversations later — they know exactly what they're agreeing to before they submit.

3

Instant alert on your phone

The job lands on your Emergency Callouts dashboard with a 'NEW' badge AND fires straight to your phone as an SMS — full-size photos, address, urgency, all there.

4

Give an ETA, invoice in a tap

Send a quick ETA from the dashboard. When the job's done, tap 'Create invoice' — customer details, address and callout fee are already there. Just add hours worked and any materials, and it's ready to send.

Built for the chaos of an emergency

Custom branded link

Pick any slug — /help/psv-electrical, /help/sunny-plumbing — and rename it any time. Looks legit, builds trust.

Photo uploads that survive

5MB per photo, up to 5 per emergency. Persisted in object storage — they don't disappear on the next deploy.

Out-of-hours fee, auto-quoted

You set the in-hours and out-of-hours rates once. We work out which applies and show it on the alert card.

Anti-spam by default

IP rate-limit (5 per hour), honeypot field, MIME whitelist, 5MB cap. No bot can grief your dashboard.

SMS opt-out built in

STOP / START / HELP handled per UK ICO + TCPA. Your tradey can reply STOP from the alert SMS, we honour it forever.

One toggle on/off

Going on holiday? Hit OFF — customers see a polite 'currently unavailable' page. Switch on again any time.

For the tradey

Need to say more than a quick ETA? The customer's phone number, address and photos are all sitting on your Emergency Callouts dashboard (and in the QSCallout SMS we sent to your phone) — one tap to call them direct.

Industry-typical SMS senders are one-way. QuoteSorted threads intake → ETA → live status updates into a single conversation, so your customers stop chase-calling and you stop juggling messages.

Common questions

Does it work without the AI receptionist?

Yes — they're independent toggles. You can run the customer-facing link on its own (perfect if you'd rather answer your own phone), or pair it with Victoria for full 24/7 coverage.

What plans include this?

Pro and Crew. The 14-day free trial unlocks everything so you can stress-test it before committing — no card required.

Can someone spam my dashboard?

Hardened against it. Per-IP rate limit (5 submissions per hour, shared with photo uploads), a honeypot field, MIME whitelist (images only), 5MB cap per photo. Real customers sail through; bots don't.

What happens to the link if I cancel my plan?

The link goes inactive. Customers visiting it see a polite 'not currently accepting emergencies' page — no error, no leaked information. Resubscribe and it's live again instantly.

Can I change my link URL?

Yes — Settings → Emergency Callouts → Change link. Pick any slug, or one-tap auto-derive from your company name. Just remember to update anywhere you've pasted the old URL.

What happens to the photos?

Stored in Emergent's persistent object storage with unguessable UUID filenames. They survive container redeploys. Only you (the tradey) and the customer who uploaded them can render them.

Out-of-hours hours — can I set them?

Yes. Settings → AI Receptionist → Emergency Callout Handling — set your in-hours window (e.g. Mon–Fri 8am–6pm), the fee outside that window, and the hourly rate. Both flows use the same numbers.
